Coley Street School Cycling Team
The Coley Street School Cycling team participates in the Sir Bernard Ferguson Cycling Race held at Koputaroa in September each year. This is part of a three day national event with schools coming from as far away as Christchurch and Auckland and our team compete against other Year 7/8 boys and girls teams.
We are not seriously competitive but enjoy the training, skill development, focus required. It is all worth it on the day and our team compete with enthusiasm and vigour, proud to be wearing their school colours.
The road race is 16km long, including both hills and flats.
